This Week: Chicago Art Walk
The thing I really loved about the Calder was that it looked different from all the various angles that you could view it from. The buildings that surrounded the piece also got into the act and changed the way the piece looked as I walked around and around. You could do a whole study on that piece and the interactions with the surrounding buildings from various angles at various times of day and in different kinds of light.
