This Week: Shopping South Congress

From  a visual perspective my favorite shop was the Big Top Candy Shop.  We have a fun candy store here in Houston as well, but I loved the decorations, posters, and the way the vintage circus theme was carried throughout the store.  It was really beautiful and visually appealing.  I could have photographed everything in there.  

I used to love these candy sticks when I was a kid.  Watermelon was my favorite.  My tastes now lean more towards baked goods. I am not as big on straight up hard sugar candy, but it sure is pretty to look at.
