This Week: The Magnificent Mile
I didn't do specific research on the Magnificent Mile so this church was a wonderful surprise. I spied it from across the street and made a beeline to it as quickly as possible. Who wouldn't! Look at that beautiful architecture. This is Fourth Presbyterian Church. The church was dedicated in 1914 and is in the Gothic style. Along with the Water Tower, which is older, Fourth Church is one of the oldest surviving structures on Michigan Avenue north of the river.
