This Week:  The Skatepark

In June Houston opened the brand new Lee and Joe Jamail skatepark in the shadow of downtown Houston.  It has been a huge hit ever since with skaters of all ages.  The park is 30,000 square feet and has areas for beginners all the way to pros to work on their skills.

I actually took these photos in June, but they have been sitting on my computer waiting for me to return to the park and add some more to the folder.  I finally decided to post them because I needed photos for this week (I've been in a little photo slump) and although I am sure you will see more photos from the skatepark here in the future, there was really no point in waiting any longer.
