This Week: Texas State Capitol

Looking up into the dome of the capitol building 218 feet above my head.  In the center is a star with the letters T E X A S surrounding it.  The star is eight feet from point to point.  You have to stand in the exact center of the dome to get this perfect circle.  A little dizzying!  You can see more photos from my Austin trip in this Flickr set.
