This Week: The Hobby Center

This week we are visiting what is probably one of my favorite places in Houston, The Hobby Center.  Not just because it has this beautiful architecture, but also because it is Houston's home for musical theater and I am a BIG fan of musical theater.  This building houses the local musical theater company, Theater Under the Stars and the touring shows of Broadway Across America.

This was also a chance for me to do an evening walk around with the Canon 10-22mm.  I love the wide angle, but am not as familiar with this new lens as I am my Tamron 17-50mm.  The Tamron is my workhorse and my preferred lens with its 2.8 capabilities, but I prefer the wider view of the Canon. I'm still waiting for my dream 10-50mm 2.8 lens.  I'm waiting Canon!
